If you ask the average Orlando, FL driver to name a high-end luxury sports car, there's a good chance that they'll think of Lamborghini. Ever since its inception in the 1960s, the Italian automaker has built its reputation on making some of the most luxurious, lightning fast, and stylish sports car on the market. Lamborghini was founded in 1963 by Italian manufacturing magnate Ferruccio Lamborghini. The brand's first models were released in the mid-1960s and were renowned for their comfort, power, and refinement. The company flourished throughout the 1960s, but it endured some struggles in the 1970s with the financial crisis and oil shortage. Due to this, Ferruccio sold the company to Swiss businessman Georges Henri Rossetti. Ever since then, Lamborghini has only grown in stature, becoming one of the most respected high-end sports car manufacturers in the world. Its vehicles are known for their upward-opening scissor doors, monstrous V8 and 12-cylinder engines, and track-ready handling.

Throughout the years, Lamborghini has produced a number of different models, some of which can be found right here at our Orlando, FL Lamborghini dealership. Some of the automaker's first vehicles were the Lamborghini 400GT, the Lamborghini 350GT, and the Lamborghini Miura. The designers of these vehicles envisioned them as cars that were capable of winning on the track as well as being driven by enthusiasts. In 1990, Lamborghini made headlines when it released the Lamborghini Diablo, which was then the fastest car in production. Today, Lamborghini continues its reign at the top of the sports car world with the 2016 Lamborghini Aventador and the 2016 Lamborghini Huracan. The Lamborghini Aventador comes in both roadster and coupe configurations and is known for its massive 6.5-liter V12 engine, all-wheel-drive, and top speed of 217 miles per hour. The 2016 Lamborghini Huracan comes in both coupe and convertible body styles and is beloved for its 5.2-liter V10 engine good for 571 horsepower and 602 lb-ft of torque, its stealth fighter-like cockpit, and angular design.

If you're an Orlando driver looking for a sports car with a rich history, you cannot go wrong with a Lamborghini car. Thanks to its futuristic cockpit and ridiculous horsepower output, getting behind the wheel of a 2016 Lamborghini car is less like driving a typical car and more like piloting an airplane. Between the Lamborghini Huracan and the Lamborghini Aventador, the automaker creates coupes, roadsters, and convertibles that are unmistakably stylish, powerful, and feature-filled.
